April 22

I’ve been busy; busy with a million and other one things and my skin, which explains when I haven’t been posting. Anyways, I’ve got some time now to post this review that I’ve done some time ago.

I’m sure you’ve seen ‘April 22’ flooding your social media newsfeed, no? *then you outdate already lah Well, I saw it flooding my newsfeed *okie flooding is a strong word here I see it way to much that it actually got my attention.  I am someone who constantly craves for ‘flawless skin’ ‘nude look makeup’ and etc. Yes, it’s my lifetime goal. Now that April 22 has got my attention, I have to try it! How and why? Do bare in mind that as vain as I can be, I am very lazy! I cannot keep up a skincare routine that requires Step 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on, I try to keep my routine simple. Simple; was the reason why April 22 caught my attention.  April 22 is all about ‘All in One’, Skin care and makeup in a bottle. Rose Energy Cream is what they call it.

April 22’s Rose Energy Cream is a skincare and makeup in one bottle *that is why it caught my attention. Rose Energy Cream is a 5-in-1 formulation bottle which promises to enhance your skin. A serum, a primer, a foundation, a concealer and a sun block of SPF 30 pa++.  Rose Energy’s Cream main ingredients are EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) and Rose Extract (Rosa SPP Oil).  EGF is a healing agent that stimulates skin growth, increasing the production of collagen in our skin and promotes skin rejuvenation. Rose Extract is well known for its antioxidant properties and rich in Vitamins A, C, D, E which our skin needs. Rose Energy Cream also harbours intensive hydrating properties which allow our skin to stay moisturize and hydrated throughout the day. April 22’s Rose Energy Cream also contains Trehalose, which is used in many top cosmetic brands for its hydrating properties. Trehalose also protects skin cells from damage caused by environmental exposure.  With all that being said, it’s time for you to watch what it does. Watch the video HERE

Let me share something from the first time I used this. The first time when I used it, I pumped and applied it on my face, looked in the mirror and got a shock! My face was very ‘white’, not pale but ‘white’. Well, over 10 mins it still didn’t blend into my skin tone, I guess I pumped a little too much. I wiped it off and tried again, only this time a little less. Voila, this time around after 10min it actually blended into my skin tone and I don’t look ghostly anymore. Lesson learned here, A little Goes A Long Way. Lol. April 22’s Rose Energy Cream comes with a brush, which makes application real easy. I now use this product as a base.

Many has asked about my skin, what I use, where I go for facial, etc. First let me tell you that I am blessed to with ‘not too bad’ skin, but on and off I have bad skin days too, dry and patchy, uneven skin tone, breakouts and the list goes on *I am only human and food can cause my skin to go a bit cookoo On days like this I avoid the cameras at all cost and hide myself at home for a ‘Emergency treatment’ (Ampoules, Serums and Masks to the rescue, when it gets out of hand then Its time to visit the Aesthetic Clinic) I seldom go for facial treatment *they are costly and I am a scrooge, so unless someone sponsors *hint to hubs me its a NO  So here’s my routine.

My current day to day routine for now is as such:-

Cleanse - Currently using Damascena Rose Whitening Cleansing Mousse from Arwin/BiochemAmpoule – DocLab Face Ampoule from DocLab *will review this soon, previously using Laderm
Rose Energy Cream – Read from beginning. Lol
Concealer – I use multiple concealers as I have bad dark circles, if you have one to introduce to me, I will thank you! *thank you sinus and sleepless nights

I use AEY Naked Mask & Paper mask 2 times fortnightly a week *on rotation

There you have it. My day-to-day skin care routine. If you would like to get the Aprill 22’s Rose Energy Cream, you may get it from Jennifer like I did, contact information below.
