You know, every time I scroll Instagram I’d come across this brand called SKINTIFIC and when I see so many people raving about the product, I just had to try it myself. I got myself the SKINTIFIC Mugwort Anti Pores & Acne Clay Mask Review and also the Moisturizer. I got the clay mask because up to date, I do not use clay mask so it’s definitely worth a try and the moisturizer because it's that one item that finishes off fairly quickly for me.

First and foremost, the brand name is very appealing ; SKINTIFIC which I gather means something like Terrific Skin, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the Brand name. I did some research and found that SKINTIFIC majors in repairing skin barrier, and its formulas uses a unique TTE Technology ( Trilogy Triangle Effect ) which gives effective & precise results. SKINTIFIC is gentle enough even for those with sensitive skin.

Ok, let's get to the SKINTIFIC Mugwort Anti Pore & Acne Clay Mask! This was specifically formulated to treat acne & breakouts which I still face on and off, but what I really hope to achieve with this is minimize pores. As age catches up, somehow the pores around my nose area have become larger and it's an eyesore especially for me because I am one who actually has a fixed skincare regime and is pretty diligent if I may say so myself. I exfoliate weekly, I ensure that I clean my pores and I use facemasks diligently. I wonder what's missing.

SKINTIFIC Mugwort Anti Pores & Acne Clay Mask use Mugwort as its main ingredient and mugworts is a trending skincare ingredient especially in Korea and has been used as a skincare ingredient for years , if not decades. Mugwort is gentle & hydrating making it a great ingredient for sensitive or dry skin like mine and its anti-inflammatory too so it helps to target those acne. The Vitamin E from mugwort also helps to relieve skin redness. As I mentioned earlier SKINTIFIC uses their patented TTE Technology so I d expect results from this. SKINTIFIC Mugwort Clay Mask Key Ingredients

Here is how to use a Clay Mask, in case you don’t know how. Clay Mask is to be used 2 - 3 times per week for optimum results. If you have dry skin like me, it is advisable to leave the mask on for no more than 10 mins or when the mask dries up and feels hard on skin.

Here are the steps for using the SKINTIFIC Mugwort mask:

1) Clean face 2) Take the mask using the spatula provided. Apply the mask evenly on the face. Avoid -> the eye area, lips and hair. 3) Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes. 4) Rinse your face using warm water until clean

The SKINTIFIC Mugwort Anti Pores & Acne Mask has a creamy texture, and spreads easily on skin. Upon application, I could feel a slight cooling effect. Very soothing if I must say. There is a very subtle herbal fragrance which I actually like.

So I’ve been using this mask for about 2 weeks with a frequency of 2-3x per week. I do see improvements, the red areas are much lesser now and I do actually see finer pores, hopefully they will continue to reduce in size. My skin also feels so much smoother and softer, and throughout the day it doesn't get oily anymore. It has been years since I went to a saloon to get my hair dyed, even before the Pandemic I did not have the habit to get my hair dyed in a saloon mainly because of the waiting time which I absolutely hated. I could not stand sitting there for hours waiting. I have always preferred dyeing my hair myself at the comfort of my home. Nope I am no professional which is why getting the right product does wonders.

This time I chose to go with the Sugar Ash - Greyish Brown with cool Undertones, my previous

hair colour has faded and I'm left with a somewhat dry & brittle brown coloured hair. I described them as dried & burnt Haystacks. Alright let's get started.

In the box of Schwarzkopf Freshlight there is 1 developer, 1 foam colour, 1 pair gloves,

1 push pump, 1 hair mask and 1 instruction leaflet.

To use it's pretty easy! Just pour the Small Bottle into the Larger bottle and screw the Pump

cap on and you are ready to go.

The application is no hassle, stiff foam that doesn't disintegrate, and easy. I start from the top and slowly work all my hair and upon finishing I just bun them all up and wait for 30 minutes. It's very easy to work with because of the rich foamy texture.

Once 30 mins is up I wash off the foam and I use the Freshlight Hair Mask, I leave the Mask on for 15 minutes and wash off. I used the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Total Repair 19 Treatment on my hair prior to Blow Drying it .

I am very happy with the results. The colour turned out as expected and my hair didn’t dry out which is very important. Here’s a before & after photo so that you can see the difference.

My Personal Experience

I have always been on the chase for fair and flawless skin, which is why I follow my skincare regime strictly. My ultimate goal is to age gracefully because I know that I cannot stop aging. On my last 2 visit to Ido's Clinic I tried 2 different treatments, totally non-invasive and only on the surface. I was pretty impressed on how these 2 treatments actually gave my skin a more refreshed look! Totally polished.

Snow White Peel
