Schwarzkopf Freshlight, keeps your hair in trend at home!
It has been years since I went to a saloon to get my hair dyed, even before the Pandemic I did not have the habit to get my hair dyed in a saloon mainly because of the waiting time which I absolutely hated. I could not stand sitting there for hours waiting. I have always preferred dyeing my hair myself at the comfort of my home. Nope I am no professional which is why getting the right product does wonders.
I love Schwarzkopf Freshlight when it comes to dyeing my hair, let me share with you the reasons why. Firstly, Schwarzkopf is a well known name in the Hair Industry for their high Quality and Reliability, they also carry a huge range of products especially the keratin ones. So when it comes to DIY hair I’d definitely choose a brand that’s reliable because I am no professional.
Schwarzkopf Freshlight is a Foam DIY Hair colour which originated from Japan, and is inspired from the latest fashion trends in Japan and develops in-trend, vibrant and fashion color shades which are complemented by post color care treatments infused with long lasting fragrance. So, there’s a wide range of colours available, though for now in Malaysia currently 5 are available. Schwarzkopf Freshlight also uses 8 types of Amino Acids Compositions for healthier coloring.
Schwarzkopf Freshlight is unlike any other DIY Hair Dye I have tried, true to what it claims, it protects hair from damage, it gives hair that additional shine and most importantly it smells good!
Let’s check out the 5! They are
Sugar Ash - Greyish Brown with cool Undertones
Berry Ash - Subtle Ash Brown with Cool Undertones
Melty Cherry - Cherry red with Warm Undertones
Lemon Blond - Refreshing Blond with Yellow Undertones
Sweet Mocha - Milk Soft Chocolate Brown with Warm Undertones
This time I chose to go with the Sugar Ash - Greyish Brown with cool Undertones, my previous
hair colour has faded and I'm left with a somewhat dry & brittle brown coloured hair. I described them as dried & burnt Haystacks. Alright let's get started.
In the box of Schwarzkopf Freshlight there is 1 developer, 1 foam colour, 1 pair gloves,
1 push pump, 1 hair mask and 1 instruction leaflet.
Once 30 mins is up I wash off the foam and I use the Freshlight Hair Mask, I leave the Mask on for 15 minutes and wash off. I used the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Total Repair 19 Treatment on my hair prior to Blow Drying it .
I am very happy with the results. The colour turned out as expected and my hair didn’t dry out which is very important. Here’s a before & after photo so that you can see the difference.
I highly recommend the Schwarzkopf Freshlight, not only is it easy to use but it doesn’t dry your hair. Its low irritation foam dye so it's pretty safe to use. You can find Schwarzkopf Freshlight at Watsons Nationwide or you can get them online here Schwarzkopf Freshlight
